This includes the use of durable Perwanger leather for the upper, or the 100% recycled fabric upper element compliant with the `Global Recycling Standard’, and the PFC-free waterproof membrane. Waterproof, breathable, durable – HANWAG has designed its proprietary PU membrane based on a complex hydrophilic system that achieves waterproofness and breathability without using fluorocarbons. All materials are sourced from European suppliers and the shoe is fully made in Europe. However, sustainability and durability should not come at the expense of functionality and comfort. The perfect fit and the newly developed midsole of the Blueridge Low Lady ES prove this! The raised edge of the stabilising PU sole offers better support all around and at the heel.
