The Race back protector vest is specially designed for alpine skiing competitions or freeride skiing and snowboarding where additional protection is needed. The Race vest uses a thicker pad and is certified to a higher standard; EN 1621-2:2014, Level 2. The back protector vest is comfortable and lightweight, yet offers supreme protection. The back protection material is a viscoelastic foam from SAS-TEC - soft and comfortable, but with impressive multi-impact shock absorption properties. The protective pad is 19 mm thick, and the vest has a wide belt for a custom fit. Certified to EN 1621-2:2014, Level 2. We recommend the Race version where maximum back safety is required.
