Opt for an ecological and comfortable sleep during your mountaineering expeditions with the Rab Solar Eco 1 sleeping bag.
We've taken everything we know about low-impact design and applied it to what we do best. These tough synthetic sleeping bags are filled with 100% recycled Stratus™ insulation, lined and covered with heavy-duty recycled Atmos™ 20D ripstop fabric. Strong, warm and reliable, they dry quickly and resist condensation or moisture.
The Solar Eco 1 is insulated with a double layer of Stratus™ insulation arranged accordion-style to trap warm air. Internal elastic quilting brings the lining and insulation closer to the wearer's body to reduce cold air pockets. Localized quilting simply means that the seams holding the insulation in place have been minimized to reduce the risk of cold spots. Measuring just 30 cm x 18 cm, it's incredibly compact. Ideal for summer climbing, warm-weather bivouacs and hiking.
The Solar Eco has an adjustable hood that can be tightened around the face to keep out the cold, and a ruff to prevent heat escaping. Its zipper along ¾ of the length of the bag, has an additional flap that prevents draughts, as well as a hook protection. Its ample sarcophagus shape offers space to find your most comfortable sleeping position, and slip on extra clothes if the thermometer suddenly drops during the night.
