The Rogue 48 alpine backpack from Rab: lightweight, sturdy, and fitted with an aluminium frame to aid your climbs.
The Rogue 48 climbing backpack combines lightness with a significant carrying capacity. A lightweight internal spring frame made of aluminium featuring the TRI-FLEX™ carrying system helps to shift the weight to your lower back and hip belt for optimal support. Dual-density foam integrated into the shoulder straps and hip belt provides maximum comfort on the hips and shoulders. The adjustable hip belt, which tightens by pulling forward, and the moulded back panel both adapt to your body shape. Made from durable 840D ballistic nylon and 420D nylon, it is very tough and includes reinforcements in wear areas. It also offers a sleek aesthetic.
The Rogue 48 features a zipper closure on the top and is also accessible from the back, allowing you to retrieve gear from the bottom of the pack in just seconds. The stretch mesh side pockets and the external zipped pocket for your guidebook provide quick access to all your essential items, while the space under the compression straps makes it easy to carry a 60 m or 80 m rope. It also has upper and lower compression straps and a handle at the back for quick grabbing, making it easy to switch from one route to another. Inside, there’s plenty of room to store everything you might need for a day of trad climbing, with a secured zipped pocket for your valuables and a stretch mesh divider.
