This manufacturing process involves layering spiral carbon fibres (90°), unidirectional fibres (0°) across three layers, and two layers of carbon laid with two opposing helical windings (45°). These two additional crossed windings gave the name Bias Cross Wrap. The X45 carbon winding adopts elasticity and returns to its original shape regardless of the loading angle of the blank.
