The Bluestrait ES is a secure winter boot with non-slip grip. Reinforced grip inserts made of fiberglass, integrated into the Fiberbrake sole, ensure that its load zones provide a unique level of traction. The specially developed winter rubber compound remains soft, flexible, and grippy at temperatures below zero. Additionally, the aggressive tread pattern on the outer edges of the soles offers excellent traction in snow or mud. The 3D IPU midsole construction ensures a perfect fit and allows the foot to roll efficiently for a smooth push-off. Its three-dimensional structure is made of stabilising injected polyurethane (IPU) and expanded polyurethane (PU). The raised edge of the sole provides better support on all sides and at the heel. To ensure your feet stay dry, the Bluestrait ES has a PFC-free PU membrane with a robust three-layer laminate construction. The outer upper is treated with an additional PFC-free waterproofing, and its soft interior lining is made with 70% recycled polyester. The comfortable and breathable insole is made from a combination of odour-inhibiting and insulating merino wool (mulesing-free) and fully recycled PU foam created from offcuts. Durable and resource-efficient, we combine high-quality natural Perwanger suede leather with terracare® nubuck leather from the Josef Heinen tannery and a 100% recycled upper fabric.
