To enjoy the exceptional protection and comfort of the GelProtech for at least a week, it is recommended to have a second pair of socks GelProtech without a gel pad.

A stretch fleece pocket is heat-bonded to the inside of the sock at the shin area. Inside this pocket, a silicone gel pad enriched, 3 to 6 times stronger and more flexible than traditional silicone, measuring 18 x 6.5 cm is inserted. This allows the gel pad to be removed when washing the socks, and then reinserted into the pocket for next use.

This process has the key advantage of avoiding machine washing of a silicone gel pad. Its size of 18 x 6.5 cm allows it to cover the entire sensitive area of the shin, and the enriched silicone provides the best possible protection against the pressure exerted by ski boots on the shins.
