The touring segment is the trend in mountaineering; it's essential to combine lightweight equipment that works in powder and remains stable in the variable conditions found in the backcountry. The Ripstick 88 Tour W has the perfect waist width for feeling confident on descents and narrow enough for long, comfortable climbs, making it the ideal point for touring skis. At around 1170 g per ski, we've targeted the optimal weight for women's touring skis, without sacrificing stability and downhill performance. Thanks to CARBON BRIDGE technology, we've implemented a carbon reinforcement to connect the ski's energy for a smooth feel with a playful rebond. The length of the reinforcement is precisely designed to reduce vibration and tip shake. The reduced sidewall shape gives the ski a unique look with functional weight reduction, while the full sidewalls increase edge pressure and contact. With a freeride profile and shape, we've ensured that this is the perfect combination of weight and performance for all skiers, in all conditions encountered in the backcountry.
