Multi-purpose hot-forged aluminum belay device for use with single, double and twin ropes.
Its main applications are: self-locking belaying of one or two rope mates; abseiling.
The special central ribbing acts as a point support on the carabiner and allows two people to be recovered, even if they are belayed on ropes of different diameters, both at the same time and separately, because in the event of a fall, only the rope subject to tearing is blocked, leaving the other free to slide.
It is possible to use the GI-GI in combination with an autoblocker and a pedal for ascents in case of emergency.
