GS CARBON - Gabel's Giant Slalom Poles The GS-CARBON poles are skiing poles for Giant Slalom. They feature the special Biomatrix handle which, with its unique shape and materials, is very comfortable and provides better control of the pole. The Biomatrix also comes with a Click System that makes it easy to detach and/or replace the World Cup race strap. The pole shaft is made of Snake Carbon and Kevlar. Snake Carbon, a high-modulus carbon fiber treated through a unique crystallization process, is covered with Kevlar, a synthetic aramid fiber known for its strength. This combination results in a lightweight yet very rigid pole, capable of breaking through the course gates with minimal risk of breaking. The tungsten carbide tip and Wind-Tech basket complete this professional model, also chosen by many snow sports athletes.
