Whether you’re a beginner in surfing or just want to enjoy a cruising session, the Chancho is a super easy board to ride, stable and takes on waves effortlessly. For its medium size, the Chancho offers plenty of volume and a shallow noserocker that allows for early wave catches. Its V-shaped outline that runs through the fins to the back helps in turning with ease.
The board is an evolution of the famous WATER HOG board by shaper Al Merrick.

TORQ X-LITE TECHNOLOGY
The Torq X-Lite technology takes the already innovative epoxy construction to unexpected levels in terms of weight and performance.
The core of the boards is made from a highly precise EPS blank, specially manufactured, covered with biaxial cloth and epoxy resin. On the deck of the X-Lite boards, an additional layer of sandwich wood is incorporated to evenly distribute shock pressure on the surface and thus protect against dings and heel dents.
The underside features a torsion-resistant carbon strip that controls flex and makes the board incredibly responsive.
The X-Lite construction stands out from the traditional PU/polyester construction by its more environmentally friendly production process and unmatched weight-to-strength ratio.
