TORQ Surfboard TEC RVR

The RVR is a special board designed for rivers and stationary waves. We worked with surfers from the legendary Eisbach to create this design.
The design combines two main features: a large sliding area in the middle with a super responsive tail.
The middle of the board is wide, with a single concave and a full rail. The RVR has the buoyancy needed when surfing in river water and requires immediate acceleration to generate speed in short sections. In the back third, the outline narrows thanks to the winger behind the front fins, the rail tapers off, and the lower concave turns into a slight V behind the back fin. These features give a very responsive tail, allowing this board to turn tightly in the pocket. This board quickly gains speed and whips through tight turns in the pocket and off the lips.
Our super strong TEC layup has an extra 6oz fiberglass rail band to withstand the extra impacts that a riverboard inevitably receives.
