TORQ Surfboard TEC Delpero Pro

The pro surfer and world champion Edouard Delpero and the shaper Alain Minvielle worked on this shape.
The first ED Pro was a narrow shape, suited for competition, with a high rocker that allowed for vertical surfing close to the pocket. The Minvielle ED Pro Wide is an evolution of this shape - developed to meet the WSL evaluation criteria - a long high-performance board with extremely good noseriding capabilities, featuring a bit more width in the middle and a fuller nose. The board does have a bit more weight in turns, but it massively increases the surface area in the nose to allow for long, stable noserides. This also improves speed on the water and makes it easier to catch waves.
The tail retains high rocker characteristics for getting out of hard bottom or for carving a solid rail turn.

Torq Epoxy Composite offers performance shapes in our ultra-modern epoxy layup. These boards provide the best balance between lightness and durability. Thanks to our unique laminating process, we can use a very strong 6oz and 4oz fiberglass layup in a three-layer deck and a two-layer coating (with a four-layer rail overlap) with high-density EPS foam, while achieving a board weight equivalent to a light fiberglass layup.
The result is a lightweight yet very stable board with good flex properties and, like all torq, excellent value for money.
