The M23 is derived from the legendary M13 bloodline, a popular hybrid board that Al Merrick designed for himself and has surfed for decades in different variations - from the fun Rincon to the maximal Sunset. A true high-performance hybrid that caters to various surfing styles, surfers of different sizes, and a wide range of wave conditions. Don’t confuse it with the CI Mid; the M23 has more volume, a fuller rail, and a thinner nose outline. It’s easy to paddle and performs like a shortboard.

TORQ X-LITE TECHNOLOGY
The Torq X-Lite technology pushes epoxy construction, already innovative, to new heights in terms of weight and performance.
The core of the boards is made from a specially manufactured high-precision EPS blank, covered with biaxial cloth and epoxy resin. On the deck of the X-Lite boards, an additional layer of Impact Mesh is incorporated to evenly distribute shock pressure across the surface, thus protecting against dings and heel dents.
The underside features a torsion-resistant carbon strip that controls flex and makes the board incredibly responsive.
The X-Lite construction stands out from traditional PU/polyester construction due to its more eco-friendly production process and unmatched weight-to-strength ratio.
