Channel Islands Surfboard X-lite Chancho

Whether you're a beginner at surfing or just want to enjoy a cruise session, the Chancho is a super easy board to ride, stable, and effortless in catching waves. For its medium size, the Chancho offers a lot of volume and a shallow noserocker that allows you to catch waves early. Its V shape that runs through the fins to the back helps to turn effortlessly.
The board is an evolution of the famous WATER HOG board by shaper Al Merrick.

TORQ X-LITE TECHNOLOGY
The Torq X-Lite technology takes already innovative epoxy construction to new heights in terms of weight and performance.
The core of the boards is made from a specially manufactured, high-precision EPS blank, covered with biaxial fabric and epoxy resin. On the decks of the X-Lite boards, an additional layer of sandwich wood is incorporated to evenly distribute the impact pressure on the surface and thus protect against dings and heel dents.
The underside features a torsion-resistant carbon strip that controls the flex and makes the board incredibly responsive.
The X-Lite construction stands out from traditional PU/polyester construction due to its more eco-friendly production process and unmatched weight-to-strength ratio.
