Our db7-R central unit is designed to seamlessly pair with our dB7-R bite detectors. This receiver has been built to meet the highest standards of performance, reliability, and above all, ease of use, making the dB7-R range the perfect companion for serious anglers. We are confident that after using them during a session, you won't need to consult the instruction manuals, revisit the setup videos or learn complex button-press sequences to use them. Like our bite alarms, the receiver features a PPS (Power-On Protection System), which prevents accidental activation and unnecessary battery drain. The sturdy ABS casing and battery compartment ensure that this receiver can withstand even the most demanding conditions. The digital circuits and internal sealing of the components also ensure that this receiver operates reliably in any conditions. The integrated SRT (Sync-connect Receiver Technology) is designed for optimising long-range signals and overcoming obstacles. This advanced technology ensures you'll always receive a strong and reliable signal from your bite detectors. Easily connect and update the detectors, 4 per channel (16 in total), and customise your setup to your individual preferences. Additionally, the alarm tone and LED colour are automatically updated on the central unit when adjusted on the detectors, and the central unit has built-in memory that allows you to change the batteries in both the detectors and the unit itself without having to reprogram them. The Tru-tone cone speaker ensures a loud sound when needed, and our adjustable D-Vibe transmits a vibration both in sound and silent modes. The LER (Last Event Recall) feature indicates the last event sent to the receiver, making sure you never miss a bite even if you're a little slow to wake up at night. The indexed volume control knob (8 volume settings, including silent) allows you to adjust the sound level to your liking; this function is audible on the central unit. A low battery warning ensures you're always aware of your battery level. The central unit will indicate via LED flashes which detector has a low battery and if its own battery is low. The ergonomic design of the standalone case makes it easy to use, and the central unit stands up on its own on your bivvy table, bucket lid, or any other flat surface you decide to place it on. You can also carry it wherever you go with the included wrist strap. The central unit is powered in the same way as the detector, using a single PP3 9V battery.
