The upper is made from the highest quality nubuck and is paired with excellent weather protection, guaranteed by the Gore-Tex Performance Comfort membrane, and a boot construction that provides an unmatched fit, wrapping and protecting your foot, with a toe protector and a Lycra collar. Protection is further enhanced by the high-performance rubber toe cap, and the Kayland Ankle Lock System that supports your ankle while allowing natural movement. The standout feature of the Stellar range is its sole unit: your foot rests directly on the soft EVA midsole which offers improved cushioning during impacts and bumps over rough terrain. The Vibram® Stellar sole has been designed exclusively for Kayland. The internal construction features a honeycomb design that lightens the structure, enhances thermal insulation, and provides excellent shock absorption. The midsole, encased in dual-density PU foam, sits above the perforated PU footbed, which also reduces weight and increases torsional stability. The sole unit includes an integrated welting for semi-automatic crampons.
